Corn Mazes in New Hampshire 2026: One Is Already Open

Corn mazes are the sensible end of New England's Halloween season. Ten to eighteen dollars instead of forty-plus, daylight instead of darkness, nobody chasing you with a chainsaw, and a farm stand at the end of it.

They're also the part of the season most likely to be listed with last year's dates, because the farms running them are small operations with better things to do in July than update a website.

The state of play

Collins Farm, Bath — open now

Collins Farm has published a season running July 31 to October 31, 2026, in plain text on its own site, and it's already underway. That makes it the only New Hampshire corn maze — and, as far as our checking goes, one of very few New England attractions of any kind — with a full 2026 season you can currently plan around.

Thirteen acres, three difficulty levels, hidden checkpoints and trivia along the route, 60–90 minutes for the average completion. Flat, level trails. Open to all ages. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, which is rarer than it should be. Concessions on site, including fried dough, because it is a New Hampshire farm in autumn.

The three difficulty levels are the useful detail with children — you are not committing the whole family to ninety minutes.

After dark it changes. Collins runs a Flashlight Maze and a separate Haunted Flashlight Maze in October. Same corn, entirely different event. If you're bringing small children, go in daylight and go home before the flashlights come out.

The three that are returning but undated

The Maize at Sherman Farm, East Conway. A White Mountains institution with a new theme every year, repeatedly voted the state's best maze. Its site says "Closed. See you in 2026" — so it's returning — while still displaying its 2025 schedule and, explicitly labelled as such, 2025 pricing: $15 per person, 11am to 5pm, age 2 and under free, on weekends from late September through late October.

That's a fair guide to what 2026 will look like. It is not 2026 information, and we haven't listed it as such.

Moulton Farm, Meredith. Lakes Region farm with a maze, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and a serious farm market. Their maze page says outright they're looking forward to getting you lost in 2026. No dates yet.

Coppal House Farm, Lee. A horse-powered working farm in the Seacoast that runs a themed maze alongside its sunflower festival. The farm is clearly active for 2026 — its farm stand hours are posted through August — but we couldn't reach a page with maze dates on it.

Why corn mazes are the value play

Worth saying plainly, because the rest of this site is about attractions that charge three times as much.

A New Hampshire corn maze runs roughly $10–$18 a head. Fright Kingdom is $41 online and $45 cash at the door. For a family of four that's the difference between about sixty dollars and about a hundred and eighty — and the maze includes an afternoon on a farm, a pumpkin patch and usually cider doughnuts.

Corn mazes also solve the problem the big haunts create: age. Fright Kingdom and Spooky World are not for eight-year-olds. A daytime corn maze is for everybody, and the only genuinely family-set-up confirmed Halloween event we've found in New Hampshire so far is Ghosts on the Banke in Portsmouth, on four evenings in October.

Practical notes

Go in the morning if it rained. Corn maze trails are dirt between rows. Collins Farm advertises flat, level trails, which helps, but wet corn is wet corn.

Check the difficulty before you commit. Sixty to ninety minutes is a long time to be lost with a five-year-old who needs the toilet.

The scary version is a different ticket. Flashlight and haunted mazes are separate events at separate times. Don't turn up at 7pm in October expecting the daytime experience.
