Mystic's ghost tours run through a single independent operator working the whole southeastern Connecticut coast — here's what's published and what isn't.

Mystic is a seaport village straddling a river and two towns, best known for a maritime museum and a pizza restaurant that got a film made about it. It is also genuinely old, genuinely dark after nine, and — unlike Salem — not full.
Its ghost tours run through a single independent operator, which turns out to be a point in their favour.

Seaside Shadows
Operating since 2013, independent and woman-owned, and founded by the historian and author who wrote the local haunted history the tours draw from. That last detail is the one that matters: most ghost tour material in New England circulates between operators, and a route built from primary local research is a different product even when the stops look similar.
The Original Downtown Mystic Ghost Tour is one hour forty-five minutes over about a mile — the longest standard walking ghost tour anywhere in our data. Most run sixty or ninety minutes. If you have found other tours thin, this is the corrective.
They also run graveyard tours, pub crawls and paranormal investigations across southeastern Connecticut rather than just Mystic, so the answer to "is there a New London ghost tour" is generally yes, depending on the night.

Why Mystic works as a ghost tour town
It's a real seaport, not a themed one. Shipbuilding, whaling money, and the ordinary attrition of a coastal town that sent men out and didn't always get them back.
The buildings are the right age. Downtown Mystic's core is eighteenth and nineteenth century and largely intact, which means the tour is walking past actual fabric rather than gesturing at parking lots where something used to be.
Nobody is there at 9pm. Mystic's visitor traffic is daytime — museum, aquarium, shops. The town empties in the evening in a way Salem's simply does not in October, and a ghost tour benefits enormously from an empty street.
Practical notes
Park once. Downtown Mystic is small and the drawbridge over the river creates predictable congestion; the bridge lifts on a schedule in season and traffic stops dead when it does.
It's a river mouth. Cold and damp after dark well outside winter.
One hour forty-five is a real walk. Longer than most, on uneven ground, in the dark. Worth knowing if anyone in the group has mobility limits.
