Haunted Overload builds thirty-foot monsters out of hand-cut timber in a New Hampshire wood. Its website is a frameset that returns no readable content at all.

Haunted Overload is the most visually extraordinary haunted attraction in New England, and possibly the country. It is also the one we could verify least about.
Both things are worth explaining.
What it is
At DeMeritt Hill Farm on Route 155 in Lee, New Hampshire — an outdoor walk through actual woods, past sets built by hand out of timber, some of them over thirty feet tall.
That is the distinction. Most haunted attractions are corridors with actors in them. Haunted Overload is closer to a constructed landscape: hundreds of lit pumpkins, enormous carved figures looming out of the treeline, and a scale that photographs extraordinarily well because it genuinely is that big. It has been ranked among the best haunts in the United States repeatedly, and the reason is craft rather than intensity.
Why there is no data on this page
Its website is a frameset. The homepage is an outer shell that loads its content in an inline frame, and fetching either the shell or the inner page returns essentially nothing — a few hundred characters and a message that your browser does not support frames.
So: no season, no dates, no pricing, no operating status, and no confirmation it is running in 2026. We recorded the location and nothing else, because that is all that could be established.
To be clear about what this is and is not. It is not evidence that anything is wrong with the attraction. It is a website built on a technology that stopped being current around 2005, belonging to an operation whose talent is obviously in timber and lighting rather than in HTML. Those are different problems.
But it does mean that anyone publishing Haunted Overload's 2026 dates today got them somewhere other than the operator's website, and it is fair to ask where.
What we would tell you if we could
Historically the attraction has run a daytime, lights-on version for families alongside the full night walk — which is a genuinely sensible piece of programming that very few haunts offer, and which would put it on our family-friendly page if we could confirm it for this year.
Check their social channels. For an operation like this that is where the season gets announced.
Practical notes
It is a working farm in the woods. Mud, uneven ground, real darkness. Footwear matters more than at an indoor haunt.
It is close to the Seacoast. Fifteen minutes from Durham — where Three Chimneys Inn has stood since 1649 — and half an hour from Portsmouth, where Ghosts on the Banke has confirmed October dates.
If you need certainty, Fright Kingdom is the only major New Hampshire haunt with a published 2026 calendar.
