The 2026 Halloween Announcement Tracker: Who's Confirmed, Who Hasn't

Most Halloween listings answer "when is it open?" by quietly showing you last year. This page answers a more honest question: which venues have actually said anything about 2026?

Every row below was checked against the venue's own website on the date shown. When a venue announces, its row flips — and the count at the top counts itself, so it cannot go stale by being forgotten.

19 venues here run a multi-night season this autumn. The last of them closes Nov 14.

How to read the gaps

Two of the four labels change wording once the season starts, because they stop meaning the same thing. Before opening night, "returning — dates not out" is the ordinary state of a haunt with a presale still to run, and "nothing announced" says very little in August. From opening night on, the same two rows read "open — no calendar published" and "silent — presumed not running", which is what those situations actually are once October is underway. The table takes its cue from the earliest date any venue in it opened, so the wording moves with the season rather than with anyone remembering to change it.

"Open — no calendar published" is the more interesting row. Barrett's Haunted Mansion is in its 35th season and demonstrably running; DementedFX is casting actors and selling a presale. Neither has put a date anywhere. That is not shyness, it is a marketing site nobody updated, and it is the single most common reason a real schedule goes unreported.

"Silent — presumed not running" is a judgement, and a soft one. It is not the same as crossed out. Plenty of small operators run a whole season on Facebook and never touch their website, so a silent row may well be open — we simply cannot verify it, and in October that is worth saying more bluntly than "nothing announced."

A crossed-out venue said so itself. We only mark a venue not running when its own site says it — like Ghoulie Manor's "closed for now". Absence from a calendar is never treated as cancellation; Fright at the Fort is the test case for that distinction.

Renames hide here too. Venues change names between seasons — the Haunted Graveyard became Phantom Fall Fest this year, and every list still using the old name is linking to a page the park deleted. The "formerly" lines exist because this happens more than anyone expects.
