The 2026 Halloween Announcement Tracker: Who's Confirmed, Who Hasn't

Most Halloween listings answer "when is it open?" by quietly showing you last year. This page answers a more honest question: which venues have actually said anything about 2026?

Every row below was checked against the venue's own website on the date shown. When a venue announces, its row flips — and the count at the top counts itself, so it cannot go stale by being forgotten.

How to read the gaps

"Returning — dates not out" is normal in August. New England haunts typically announce four to six weeks before opening. The venues that flip earliest tend to be the big timed-entry operations, because they need the presale runway.

"Nothing announced" is not "closed." Plenty of small operators run their whole season on Facebook and never touch their website. It means exactly what it says: the venue's own site offers nothing we can verify.

A crossed-out venue said so itself. We only mark a venue not running when its own site says it — like Ghoulie Manor's "closed for now". Absence from a calendar is never treated as cancellation; Fright at the Fort is the test case for that distinction.

Renames hide here too. Venues change names between seasons — the Haunted Graveyard became Phantom Fall Fest this year, and every list still using the old name is linking to a page the park deleted. The "formerly" lines exist because this happens more than anyone expects.
